Series of Sexual Assaults - Templestowe and Doncaster East - 2005
Police are seeking public assistance in relation to a series of sexual assaults in Templestowe and Doncaster East.
At 2.10pm on Wednesday 2nd November 2005, a young woman was walking along Whittens Lane, Doncaster East when she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted by an unknown male.
One week later, at 6.10pm, on Wednesday 9th November, a teenage girl dressed in her school uniform was walking along the west side of the walking track situated near Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe close to the Yarra River crossing.
The girl was approached by a male who sexually assaulted her.
At approximately 12.30am on Sunday the 22nd of January, 2006 a young woman was walking along Williamsons Road, Lower Templestowe.
She passed a male walking towards her. The male turned and grabbed the young woman.
He dragged her into the bushes and sexually assaulted her.
The male is described as being of Asian appearance, about 20-27 years old, with a pale complexion and thin build. In the latest attack the male was described as having short spiked black hair.
Police have release FACE images of a man who they believe may be able to assist in their investigations.
The most recent image depicts the man with short spiky hair.
Police believe that the same man is responsible for all three incidents.
